Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Virtual Assistant - Finance / Accounting. A Virtual Assistant specializing in Finance and Accounting provides remote support to the client’s business in fixing transactions in NetSuite, including but not limited to tax-related adjustments.

In this role, you should have good knowledge of integration error management and client support, a fundamental understanding of finance and accounting principles, and strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with the finance team.

Responsibilities

  • NetSuite Transactions
    • ○ Fix transactions in NetSuite, including but not limited to tax-related adjustments.
    • ○ Enter various transactions into NetSuite, such as credit memos, refunds, and any other required entries.
    • ○ Collaborate with the finance team to address specific transactional needs.
  • Integration Error Management
    • ○ Utilize Celigo, an integration tool connecting Shopify with NetSuite, for error checking.
    • ○ Take appropriate actions to resolve errors, including clearing, retrying, or performing manual interventions.
    • ○ Provide timely and accurate updates to the finance team regarding integration issues.
  • Client Support
    • ○ Assist the finance team with additional tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements

  • Previous experience with NetSuite is preferred but not required.
  • A fundamental understanding of finance and accounting principles.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with the finance team.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
  • Willingness to assist with various tasks as requested by the client's finance team.

Schedule

  • 5 hours a day minimum for at least 4 days a week, for the next month to 2 months depending on the system changes ( AU Business hours ).
  • Monday to Friday.
  • Remote-based opportunity.
